On the calendar page are combined listings of large and small UK and Ireland Christian festivals. Why are some festivals missing? It may be that festival organisers have endorsed speakers who have broken with Biblical teaching, see below. Whilst this page concentrates on the bigger festivals because they are relevant to more people size does not matter in the scheme of things, God's teachings do. If you do spot that we've missed a suitable UK or Ireland Christian festival please email us at

Would Gandhi have accepted Christ if he had seen lives that reflected faith in Jesus?
Our neighbours may not be famous, but to God they are all VIP's.
Let's try hard to lead the people who know us, and those we just meet, to faith in Christ, rather than lead them away from Him by the way we might live.
Our actions speak much louder than our words about what we really believe. |

WARNINGS FROM THE BIBLE TO US ALL, FOR MORE DISCERNMENT |
"For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear." 2 Timothy 4:3 (NIV) |
Since the time when Jesus walked amongst us people have sought to pervert His message to suit what they wanted to do, or to fit with what people wanted to hear. On top of this the Bible repeatedly warns that as the time comes towards Jesus' return that there will be greater perversion of the truth. Despite these warnings the church is incredibly poor at policing itself against error. Charismatic, evangelical, and 'traditional' Christians are often inclined to swallow almost anything that suits without weighing it against what the Bible says and what comes to pass. False prophets, fake healers, and inept Bible teachers, both on a local church and international 'ministry' level are rife. If trading standards got involved and required substantiations of healings and prophesies they would shut down many churches and ministries.
Wherever you are, in your local church, watching the God Channel, or at a
Christian festival, do not put aside your sense, the Bible makes sense,
weigh what you are being told against it, False prophets abound, if what
they have said doesn't come true then they aren't a prophet, however 'big'
or popular they are, and if they claim healing but don't actually deliver
then they aren't a healer, ask questions, investigate, the fakes won't
tell you that they are a fake! |
